What are perfume notes?
Perfume body oils are pure oils made from plants and animals. There are notes such as the base notes.
Here are a few scents which I found that have the notes listed. The base notes is the heaviest scent and the other are a lighter scent. These are not listed here but this is to show what oils are like. They are mixtures of essential oil & fragrance oils.

Indigenous (Aveda type) … Notes of Cedar, Sage, & Corriander. Earthy, natural & rich.
Inspiritu: Notes of Cedar, Sage, & Sweetgrass.
Joshua Tree (Aveda type)… Crisp & green notes ...Neroli Orange, Coriander & Musk notes. (Joshua Tree only: Blend of essential oils & a hint of fragrance oils.)
Lavandou (Aveda type) … Notes of Lavender & Rose...a fresh & delicate floral.
Light the Way (Aveda type) … Notes of Grapefruit, Lavender, Peppermint, & Rose. (A special edition fragrance for Aveda).
Madagascar (Aveda type) … Notes of Ylang Ylang & Vanilla.
Rainforest (Aveda type) … Notes of Clover, Coriander, & Peppermint. A crisp, green fragrance with spice!
Rosemary Mint (Aveda type) … Notes of Lavender, Marjoram, Peppermint, Rosemary, & Spearmint. Fresh, cooling, & invigorating.
Sap Moss (Aveda type) … Notes of Petigrain, Galbanum, Yellow Rose, Cyclamen, & green notes. Strong base notes of Olibanum, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Virginia Cedarwood Oil, & Madagascar Vanilla... Extremely earthy and natural. (Sap Moss only: Blend of pure essential oils & a hint of fragrance oils.)
Shampure (Aveda type) … Notes of Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Orange, Patchouli, Petitgrain, & Ylang Ylang. Earthy, floral, & spicy!
